Three sisters

After a successful collaboration in the midst of the lockdown in the spring of 2020, Barn Arts began planning for in-person collaborations with the Community School, which has been a creative and educational partner since 2015. This year’s work was focused on two different classes who performed in April, 2021. 

Three Sisters

​Barn Arts joined students in the Alpine class (grades 6-8) for the ambitious project of staging the classic play, Three Sisters, by Anton Chekhov. The nine students in the class were supported by local educator Amy Tolman and local musician Caroline Cotter for a production that was staged outdoors across the Community School campus and brought to life the themes of love and loss that run through Chekhov’s tragic comedy.
