In May, Barn Arts spent a week working with eighteen 7th and 8th grade students at the Tremont Consolidated School to teach two workshops on the foundational elements of stage combat. The workshops were organized with art teacher Chandra Raymond and Middle School teacher Katrina Linscott and featured NYC-based teaching artist Franco Colon. Students learned safe and effective ways to perform stage violence and created scenes to present for one another at the end of the workshop.
